Teachers’ Training & Development Workshop
It is the policy of the management of Jinnah Islamia Group of Colleges to establish best practices in the field of education. The management believes in continuous improvement and enhanced awareness about the latest developments in education. Keeping in view this JIGC arranged a one week work shop for the development of its faculty members. The purpose of this training program was not only to enhance the knowledge but also to explore new and improved methods of teaching, so that the student of modern era can be equipped with best things and they can successfully move into their practical lives and can become famous scientists, doctors and> business leaders. For the realization of this purpose following renowned and prominent educationists were invited from all over the city.

  • During his lecture he highlighted the importance of self development for teachers. He said that Teaching is a great profession and for teachers it is very important to keep on developing themselves. People who make self-development a top value enjoy new information about how they can improve themselves in both their personal lives and careers.
    Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ehsan Malik

    Prof . D r . PMu h amma d Ehsan Malik is a versatile personality. During the workshop his topic of discussion was to deal with difficult behaviour.
    He said that everyone who does his duty in orderly fashion is a role model, be it a peon, a gardener, a manager or a professor.
    Dr. Dil Muhammad Mirza

    Dr. Dil is a Dp r omi n e n t eye specialist. He is the former president of Pakistan Medical Association. He has been the Gen. Secy Ophthalmologic Society of Pakistan. He has worked as an editor in Pakistan Journal of
    Teachers’ Training & Development Workshop
    Ophthalmology. He had also worked as a President Pakistan Medical Association Punjab in 2000. Currently he is running a clinic and manufacturing plant of eye operation instruments and also serving various societies. He highlighted that a teacher is a role model for his students that's why he should be knowledgeable, patient, and should able to inspire and motivate his students towards their studies.     Prof. Dr. Shafqat Nawaz
    Dr.Shafqat is a Dprofessor in C h e m i c a l Eng. University of the Punjab. Dr. Shafqat u n d e r l i n e d t h a t education is the most important part of one's life. The kind of education one receives largely depends upon the kind of teacher one has.
    He said that a good teacher should possess many qualities like regularity, punctuality and consistency.
    Shoukat Ali Raza
    Mr. Shoukat did his B.com from Jinnah Islamia College. He did M Phil in teaching education from AIOU currently he is doing PhD in Education Administration from the Punjab University. He is running Teacher Training Program for 7 years.
    His lecture was on “issues and trends in business teaching”. Our faculty members thoroughly enjoyed his skillful ways of teaching.
    Dr. Khalid Zaheer
    Dr.Khalid Zaheer is a former professor from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Currently he is working as director educaton in Al Mawarid. He is a famous religious scholar. He is a regular
    encouraging students to reach beyond their grasp by assigning them challenges but realistic goals.
    Dr. Muzammil Ahmed Sheik
    Dr Muzammil did PhD. in education management from UK. He is author of more than 10 Islamic books of Lahore board. Dr. Muzamil said that teaching in a noble profession. It is a profession of Holy Prophet (PBUH). Teacher should try to measure the potential of the student,
    encouraging students to reach beyond their grasp by assigning them challenges but realistic goals.
