F.Sc Pre Engineering Career, Scope, Eligibility, Merit & Further Study Options
F.Sc pre engineering is 2 years program after matriculation or O-Level. This program develops the fundamental scientific skills of students in the field of basic sciences. This program lays the strong foundation for the professional career in different engineering disciplines. It is considered equivalent to A-Level. Students who want to become engineers or scientist get admission in this program. Part one and part two papers are conducted separately. Board of intermediate and secondary education of each district conducts and organizes the F.Sc exams in their respective district. After F.Sc students who get more than 60 percents marks in annual exam have to clear ECAT entry test for getting admission in engineering universities. So it is highly recommended to F.Sc students to continue their studies even after part two exams till the commencement of ECAT entry test.

Eligibility and Merit of F.Sc Pre Engineering

Student with science subjects in Matriculation or O-Level are eligible to take admission in F.Sc. Government colleges grant admission on merit base while majority of private colleges grant admission to every student. Even some private colleges grant provisional admission to candidates with one or supply in Matric exams, which is a wrong policy. Only students who have got minimum 70 percent marks in matriculation or O-Level should get admission in F.Sc pre engineering. There are number of other options for students who are weak in science subjects, where they can perform well. Only regular students can appear in F.Sc exams. But you can get admission in distance learning F.Sc course in Allama Iqbal Open University. Medium of instruction in all science subjects at F.Sc level is English except in Sindh province. But Urdu medium students have to face many difficulties in their next classes.

Scope of Intermediate in Computer Sciences ICS
Student study following subjects in ICS
Computer Science
it’s again a good choice especially for those students who want to become software or hardware engineers in the future. By entering in ICS you can join the world of IT. But again if you are too weak in academics you should not go for this option as all these subjects need your full attention.

Scope of Intermediate of Commerce I.COM
Following subjects are taught in I.COM.
First year: Principles of Accounting, Principles of Economics, Principles of Commerce, Business Mathematics
Second year: Principles of Accounting, Commercial Geography, Computer Studies / Banking, Statistics
I.COM is also very popular among those students who want to join commerce or banking line in future. It will lead you towards B.Com, BBA, and BS in different disciplines. Presently I.COM is also taught in Urdu so academically weak students in English can join it too.

Career Options for Arts Students after Matriculation & O- Level in Pakistan
College life is very important part of one’s life. Lot of students chose wrong path at this stage. Here we shall discuss different study options after matriculation for arts and humanities students. Students have to decide about their future at this vital stage. One wrong decision at this time may detract their career. In this article we shall guide you about career options for Arts students after Matriculation & O- Level.

Arts students have very limited options after matriculation. Still they should utilize theirs available options very wisely. Seniors should guide them in this regard. Many students select wrong subjects for getting admission in the college of their choice.

Although college or institution plays an important role in your career building but still you should prefer your aptitude and trends of job market in selecting your subjects. Never select a subject which has no worth or demand in market. Also avoid easy subjects because this is your career building stage and little hard work here will pay you in long run.

Scope of FA General Science Group

I strongly recommend general science group for all arts students. General science group include Mathematics, Statistics and Economics. All these are very potential and significant subjects. Remember that this combination of subjects carries lot of weight-age and has great demand.
